There are more than 900 homes that makeup Hope Valley, extending between Garrett roads and Hope Valley from Chapel Hill Road to Swarthmore Road. Some of the street names are Chelsea and Surrey, which gives hints to anyone of old England. As a mature community, Hope Valley features housing stock that dates from the 1920s to the 1960s. There are also a Halloween party, an open house at the Country Club, several events like home walks, and much more at its active neighborhood association. Residents and even visitors can easily access the American Tobacco Trail, historic Downtown Durham, and 15-501 shopping corridor. Hope Valley Country Club features swim, fitness, tennis, and golf.
